District Chop House & Brewery, Washington, DC Major structural modifications preserved this example of downtown historic DC architecture. Renovations to the restaurant/microbrewery included 500 LF of underpinning; the addition of a 1,500-square-foot mezzanine; a complete sprinkler system, I76 tons of cooling, and a 2,500 amp electrical service as well as storm and water lines to serve the structure. High-end millwork and finishes put the final polish on the 11,000-square-foot space. click on image to enlarge |
